The GTA Brews Spring 2026 Grain Buy is open!

After some delays, the spring grain buy is finally open!!! Go and refill your dwindling malt supplies.

This year, due to increased logistical and operational costs borne by Toronto Brewing, the gift card amounts are increasing. This is the first update to the gift card amounts in the 10 years that we have been running the grain buys. The new amounts are listed below.

The GTA Brews Fall 2025 Grain Buy is open!

The fall grain buy is here, and we've brought back Barn Owl malt, for those looking for more Ontario grown barley. Of course we will have Mississippi Mill, as well as all the other favorites.

And new this fall, is Escarpment Laboratories House Ale dry yeast. Note due to ordering times with Escarpment Labs, House Ale orders will close on Tuesday, October 14, 8:00 pm.

The Fall 2024 Grain Bulk Buy is here!  Once again we have malts from Mississippi Mills Malting Co. This is a Canadian craft maltster in Pakenham, Ontario. They are the preferred maltster of Avling Kitchen & Brewery. After equipment problems in the spring, we are happy to report that Mississippi Mill has returned to full operations.

Please make sure you read the instructions carefully this year as we have a new homebrew shop partner (The Homebrew Beer Academy) and a new pickup location (Brunswick Bierworks) for this bulk buy. This isn't goodbye to Toronto Brewing, but an effort to partner with both GTA area homebrew shops on these bulk buys. We plan on partnering again with Toronto Brewing for the spring buy in 2022.
