Thank you to all our sponsors, volunteers, and crew for making this competition possible! The continued success of this competition is owed to their generous donations, and heroic efforts.
We are very happy with the improvements we’ve made this year, and I can’t wait to see how we’ll top it next year! Keep an eye out for our annual wrap up post to go live in the next few weeks.
Please join us in thanking our sponsors for their generous donations this year! We are pleased have both our local homebrew shops, Toronto Brewing and The Homebrew Beer Academy, co-sponsoring this year’s seasonal competition!
Medal Prizes
Winners in this year’s Summer Showdown competition will be awarded with custom engraved medals commemorating their achievement!
Toronto Brewing and The Homebrew Beer Academy are sponsoring the medal category prizes in the competition this year! Each medal category winner (Gold - $15, Silver - $10, Bronze - $5) will receive a gift card to one of these two fantastic local homebrew shops!
Best of Show
There is a special prize in store for this year’s Best of Show (BOS) winner! Toronto Brewing has gone above and beyond by putting up a Spike Flex 7 as the prize!
New Brewer Award
Dean from THBA approached us after Brew Slam 2019 to propose the idea of a New Brewer Award to celebrate homebrewers that win during their inaugural foray into homebrew competitions. THBA has generously awarded a $300 gift card to the winner of this prize!
We will use a combination of the self declared FIRSTCOMP discount code above, and our records of past entrants to determined eligibility for this prize.
