This month we’re thrilled to have Andrew McCready from Bickford Brewing joining us to share his souring process for his award-winning Gose. It’s a great chance to learn firsthand about the techniques behind one of the most refreshing and creative beer styles out there.

We’re excited to welcome Andrew McCready, founder of Bickford Brewing, to present his process for brewing sour beers, highlighted by his award-winning gose. In this session, Andrew will share insights into kettle souring with lactobacillus, timing acidity for clean flavors, and layering fruit to enhance the classic gose profile. Whether you’re a brewer or simply a fan of sours, this talk offers a behind-the-scenes look at crafting exceptional tart, refreshing beers.

Due to AGCO requirements for serving home-brewed beer under SOP (Special Occasion Permit), club membership is required to attend monthly meetings. However, prospective members are invited to attend their first meeting as a guest to check us out before committing to membership.
