Can you believe that we're already half way through the year? It's JUNE and we're back at recent winner of the Canadian Brewery Of The Year; Muddy York Brewing Co. For this meeting we are focusing on our Last Brewer Standing Judging (Style: California Common). There will be plenty of social time, some announcements and some discussion of where we may want to go for social excursions in July / August!
As we are now back to in-person meetings, please be respectful of the presenters and keep your chatting to a minimum.
Also, please don't forget to patronize our hosts!! Muddy York offers a wide selection of fine beers to go so don't hesitate to grab some especially if you don't get out to see them as often as you'd like!

Presentation: Last Brewer Standing Judging!
I think this month we'll be intrigued to see who's beer "reigns supreme"! We'll be so focused on judging the California Commons for this round of the Last Brewer Standing that we won't be thinking about anything else than this style of beer!! For those not partaking in the competition, Jeff Manol, our host, owner and brewmaster of the "Canadian Brewery Of The Year" (awarded recently at the Canada Beer Awards) will give a brief overview of the style and what makes this beer so unique!! There will be, of course, social time and announcements for the upcoming "summer break" as well!!
Membership & Guest Attendance
Due to AGCO requirements for serving home-brewed beer under SOP (Special Occasion Permit), club membership is required to attend monthly meetings. However, prospective members are invited to attend their first meeting as a guest to check us out before committing to membership.
