We are back to IN PERSON meetings at Muddy York Brewing!!! For the East End of the GTA, this is the first time we're back in person at Muddy York and we're so looking forward to hearing from our good friends at Escarpment Labs! Jonah Greenbaum-Shinder will be coming to the meeting to give us a talk on Wild Yeast Capture and Testing!
As we are now back to in-person meetings, please be respectful of the presenters and keep your chatting to a minimum.
Also, please don't forget to patronize our hosts!! Muddy York offers a wide selection of fine beers to go so don't hesitate to grab some especially if you don't get out to see them as often as you'd like!
Don’t forget to bring your tasting glass!

Jonah is the head of the Homebrew and Food Ferments Department at Escarpment Labs. He has a BFA in Theatre Production from Ryerson University and an MBET Degree from the University of Waterloo, and uses his diverse set of skills to help with product development, marketing, and advocacy at Escarpment. Style Of The Month (FINAL AGAIN!):
Emily will be in-person for her final "Style Of The Month" presentation for July! If you missed June's meeting you'd realize that Emily couldn't make June's meeting so we're hopeful she can get to Muddy York for the final category: Mead! Emily will be looking at the mead style guidelines in more detail. We'll miss seeing Emily and hearing the various styles!! Thanks for all your hard work on this Emily!
Membership & Guest Attendance
Due to AGCO requirements for serving home-brewed beer under SOP (Special Occasion Permit), club membership is required to attend monthly meetings. However, prospective members are invited to attend their first meeting as a guest to check us out before committing to membership.
Attend once and you’ll want to keep coming back, we promise!

PLEASE NOTE (COVID-19)
If you're feeling under the weather, or not well, please do not attend - don't worry, we're working on getting this meeting recorded to the best of our ability and uploading it after the fact to our YouTube channel so you can all catch what Jonah has to say!!! But with COVID still around (and with a bit of a summer surge going on) we just want everyone to be cautious for their own health and the health of others.
