As with any conference call, please mute your microphone if you aren't speaking, this really helps cut down on background noise. During Q&A segments we will make use of the "Raise Hand" feature.

Presentation: Beer / Food Pairing with Lauren Richard!
We are excited to have Lauren Richard with us this month to speak to us on the subject of food / beer pairings! Lauren is an Advanced Cicerone® from Fredericton, New Brunswick, who has called Toronto home for the past 15 years. As a beer "sommelier", Lauren has specialized in menu curation, beer and food pairing, staff training, guided tastings, and festival education. Lauren not only homebrews, but is also a BJCP judge and long standing judge for the World Beer Awards and upcoming Canadian Beer Cup.
You can find Lauren pulling pints at Godspeed Brewery as well as managing the beer program at The Common in Winnipeg. When not working in beer, you can find Lauren singing in her country western band, The Shortcans, or recording children's animation as a voice over artist.
Style Of The Month: Wheat and Rye Beers
Emily is returning with March's BJCP Style Of The Month! This month, Emily looks at Wheat and Rye beers and provides a brief presentation on the styles and offer some prime examples.
If you can, try and snag a can (or two!) of a very popular local example of a Hefeweizen (aka Weissbier) or Dunkelweizen (aka Dunkels Weissbier): Muddy York Brewery's Haberdasher Hefeweizen or Prost! (via the brewery)!
