Bringing Beer to Share: There are usually 40+ people at each meeting so we recommend bringing at least 1L of your beer if you want everyone to try it. If you want detailed feedback on your beer, consider arriving by 7 PM to ensure you get a spot in the Structured Tasting. Don't forget your recipe notes!

Don’t forget to bring your tasting glass!

Presentation: Brewing by the Number by Emily Storey

Emily Storey crunched the numbers and did the maths and is presenting a statistical analysis of competition trends and strategies for medalling.  In layman's terms, should you enter or stay out of Bocks?

Guest: Kathy Yan Li (CHA Director)

Kathy is the founding Director of the Canadian Homebrewers Association, an organization with the goal of connecting Canadian homebrewers. She is a BJCP Certified beer judge with Mead endorsement that has judged in almost every province in Canada. She also serves on the AHA Governing Committee and several of its subcommittees. Kathy has homebrewed on and off for seven years and cofounded the University of British Columbia’s homebrew club in 2011. She loves beer for the community, honest human connections, and flurry of inspiration it creates.
